Earth Day Beltline Cleanup 2009

It's our BeltLine. Do your part. Get connected!

On Saturday, April 18, More than 200 volunteers turned out to clear a one-mile stretch from Freedom Park Bridge to DeKalb Avenue and create a corridor that is now useable to the public.

This is on top of our efforts from November 2008 when more than 400 volunteers helped clear kudzu and litter from the NE Corridor from Monroe Drive to Highland Avenue. In November, volunteers filled 9 open top dumpsters with more than 16 tons of litter! The BeltLine is happening now! Get out and use it!

Stay connected with the BeltLine sign up for future cleanups at www.KeepAtlantaBeautiful.org.
