Keep Atlanta Beautiful's mission has always been to beautify the city by being tough on litter, but in the past few years, we've realized we have a huge opportunity and duty to support the City in their waste minimization and recycling efforts. KAtlB along with our recycling partners, have implemented the only regularly scheduled electronics recycling drop-off in the City at Grady High School, every third Saturday of the month. Since it started in May of 2008, we've prevented over 200,000 tons of electronics from entering our landfills.
We invite your club or company to help us set the pace for zero-waste by participating in the 4th Annual Race 2 Recycle on November 13. This event keeps growing as awareness spreads. Last year more than 250 runners participated from companies like Republic Services, IKEA, Novelis, Zoo Atlanta and more! Don't miss out on the fun! WHAT RUNNERS RECEIVE
All runners and walkers who register by November 1, will receive a 100% organic cotton Race 2 Recycle T-shirt. Fruit and water will be
